Nicola Randall is an agroecologist and evidence synthesis expert. Her work centres around sustainable agriculture, and on the role of scientific evidence in underpinning agricultural and land management and policy decision making. She is particularly interested in the potential trade-offs between enhancement of the natural environment and agricultural productivity, and how these can be reduced or overcome by practical, evidence-informed agroecological approaches. Nicola is based at Harper Adams University, where she is director of the Centre for Evidence Based Agriculture. She also leads the Sustainable Agri-Food Systems Group at the University
