Born on a Hampshire farm, Nick attended Sparsholt, and spent his early career with Co-operative Group Farms. After a number of estate management roles, Nick and his wife established the Farm to Fork project; in 2009 Farmer’s Weekly awarded him the Farm Manager of the Year and Farmer of the Year awards. Following eight years at South Pickenham Estate, in 2018, Nick took the reins of the Ken Hill Estate, home to the Wild Ken Hill nature restoration and regenerative farming project.
