Jennifer is an ecological geneticist with a background in plant ecology. She is interested in complex problems that require a cross-disciplinary approach. Recent projects have focused on developing molecular tools for the for the quantification of biodiversity including soil health in agriculture. Jennifer is deputy director of the new Research England funded Centre of Research excellence in Intelligent and Sustainable Productive Systems at the University of Plymouth.
