Getting to Groundswell

Groundswell takes place over two days – Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd June 2022 at Lannock Manor Farm, a working no-till farm in North Hertfordshire, just off Junction 9 of the A1(M). The postcode is SG4 7EE.

On arrival you will receive a lanyard and a tote bag with a printed Event Guide (Last year’s online here), Sessions Summaries, notpad, pen and a few other useful tools.

The majority of delegates arrive by car and there is a large free car parking field. If you are arriving by train the nearest stations are Stevenage and Baldock which are both 10 – 15 minutes drive, roughly £15 in a taxi from the rank (Stevenage has a taxi rank). The taxi drop off point is next to the Registration Tent. Stevenage Station is on the main North East rail route and trains take approximately 25 minutes from London Kings Cross or St Pancras. If you are arriving by plane, London Stansted and Luton are both approximately 30 minutes by car. Heathrow is 60 minutes.

Visit our Accommodation Page: there are plenty of accommodation options, ranging from corporate hotel to farmhouse B&B. Some visitors choose to camp in the large camping area next to the car park. Hot showers and toilet facilities are available. There are Glamping and Self-Camping options with hot showers and loos, you just need a camping pass. The campsite is open from 4pm on Tuesday and closes at 10am on Friday.

There will be a wide range of food providers open throughout both days, as in previous years we will be open until late on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, with the Earthworm Arms Bar and various food options available for you to enjoy.
