Getting to Groundswell

Groundswell takes place over two days – Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June 2020 at Lannock Manor Farm, a working no-till farm in North Hertfordshire, just off Junction 9 of the A1(M).  The postcode is SG4 7EE.

The majority of delegates arrive by car and there is a large free car parking field. If you are arriving by train the nearest stations are Stevenage and Baldock which are both 10 – 15 minutes drive, roughly £15 in a taxi from the rank (Stevenage has a taxi rank). The taxi drop off point is next to the Registration Tent. Stevenage Station is on the main North East rail route and trains take approximately 25 minutes from London Kings Cross or St Pancras. If you are arriving by plane, London Stansted and Luton are both approximately 30 minutes by car. Heathrow is 60 minutes.

Visit our Accomodation Page: there are plenty of accomodation options, ranging from corporate hotel to farmhouse B&B. Some visitors choose to camp in the large camping area next to the car park. Hot showers and toilet facilities are available. There will also be Glamping and Bring Your Own Tent options with hot showers and loos.

There will be a wide range of food providers open throughout both days, as in previous years we will be open until late Wednesday evening, with our bar and various food options available for you to enjoy. As well as The Ethical Butcher’s tasting menu, you can purchase your ticket for this when you register.
