Darren a first-generation Australian graduate and globally recognised as a stable-isotope geochemist and Director of the Stable Isotope Biogeochemistry Laboratory (SIBL) at Durham. He did his PhD at the University of Oxford, has published over 200 international publications, supervised over 40 MSc and 28 PhDs and 8 post-doctoral research fellows. Darren’s current research focuses on modern biogeochemical processes in farming and coastal environments: with particular reference to nutrients.
