Paul completed an HND in Agricultural Sciences and worked on farms all around England giving him experience of all types of Farming Systems. In 1986 he took over the family farm. In response to Storm Desmond, Paul started the Cumbria Farmer Flood Group with 800 members. Paul is a member of the NW Regional Flood and Coastal Committee, a keen conservationist and an award-winning primary school teacher. He regularly briefs DEFRA, Conservation Groups, Businesses, Charities and local communities.
