Naomi Oakley and her partner Mark run Challacombe Farm, a 180ha organic Duchy of Cornwall tenancy on Dartmoor. With multiple designations—SSSI, Scheduled Monuments, and a Wildlife Site—they treat the farm as a nature reserve producing high-welfare meat. Certified by OF&G and A Greener World, they supply local beef, lamb, and skins. Naomi is an upland ecologist, a PhD student at Newcastle, and works on the EU WaterLANDS project for wetland sustainability.
