Dr Pete Falloon, Food Security Lead at the Met Office, will present the latest evidence of how increased extreme weather events are projected to impact UK farming in the coming years and how this data can be used to support farm business planning. Three nature-friendly farmers will discuss the changes they’ve introduced to their very different farm types to adapt to climate change and improve their resilience. As a whole, the panel will consider whether the right information, incentives and advice are in place to support farming to adapt at the scale and speed required.
