Brendan Dunford is a founder of the Burrenbeo Trust, a charity which runs projects like Farming for Nature, Project ReFarm, The Hare’s Corner, and the Burren Winterage festival.
Between 2005-2022 he led the award-winning BurrenLIFE Project and its successor, the Burren Programme, which pioneered result-based payment systems for farmers.
Brendan is a regular contributor to the Irish Farmers Journal on sustainability themes, is co-author of the Farming for Nature Handbook (2024).
