Tom Sizmur is an Associate Professor at the University of Reading whose research focuses on the biogeochemistry of soils. Tom’s interests particularly relate to the benefits that can be obtained from the incorporation of crop residues and other organic amendments into soils to recycle nutrients, feed soil organisms, and increase soil organic matter. He was the Principal Investigator of the DIVERSE project, which investigated the influence of residues incorporated after growing cover crop mixtures on C and N cycling.
