This conversation, led by experienced farmers, farm advisors, and legal and financial experts, aims to demystify the world of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), offering invaluable insights and practical guidance to integrate BNG into farm businesses. In this session, we will hear from farmers who have developed BNG projects on their land and discuss their key learnings about baselining their habitats, developing a habitat management plan, budgeting and engaging with buyers. We will also hear about some of the legal and tax implications of developing a project and the role of external project developers and habitat banks.
