The One Health approach is a joint effort of various disciplines providing solutions for human, animal & environmental health. Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is an area that best illustrates how a One Health approach can tackle critical global problems affecting human health, farmed & natural environments & livestock production. We will discuss some of the anthropogenic drivers of AMR including climate change, agricultural systems, green-waste recycling & human habitation & consider how agricultural, environment & social policy can come together to drive local and global action.
