Food should nourish both people and the planet, yet our current food system is broken. Farming has the potential to be our ‘Natural Health Service’, so what do we need from food production to regenerate public health; how can we engage consumers as allies; how do we navigate the obstacles preventing change? Whole Health Agriculture has been investigating what is required to realign farming with human and environmental health & well-being. Our panel—a GP/researcher, a livestock health advisor, a grower and a mixed farmer—will discuss how farming can heal our food system and protect our collective health.
