A former heavy metal base player with a life-long passion for growing plants. Adam has amassed a wealth of knowledge in plant nutrition and integrated, natural pest and disease management. Since beginning work at the Soil Ecology Laboratory in 2020 he’s been personally responsible for over sixty iterations of compost recipes for growing a healthy soil food web. Through countless experiments he has helped develop methods to grow very diverse sets of beneficial bacteria, fungi, protozoa and nematodes. He’s quickly becoming a favourite among regenerative farmers and market gardeners for his experience in growing plants in living soils where the inputs are organic sources of nutrients and microbes are the mode of delivery.
