Alex was busy consulting as a chartered surveyor, thrusting himself at a career in London whilst the farm at home appeared to be on a treadmill of increased inputs and plateauing yields. Inspired by the shift to a no-till system where two subsequent years saw record gross margins, he left his city job and joined John and Paul at Weston Park Farms to launch Groundswell in 2016. Alex utilises his experience from organising music festivals and is driven by a passion for bringing people together with a shared interest in regenerative agriculture.
