Alice Groom is a passionate nature conservationist and Head of Sustainable Land Policy for RSPB England. Alice started her career assessing the extinction risk of plants at the Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew and then freshwater biodiversity at the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN). She then joined the RSPB specialising in domestic environmental policy. Alice’s now leads the RSPB’s work to secure policies that put nature at the heart of how we farm and manage land, and water to enable society to tackle the nature and climate crisis, whilst meeting the needs of current and future generations.
