Andrew is a seasoned senior executive with international executive and non-executive board experience. He has an outstanding track record in operational leadership, risk, governance and stakeholder management in FTSE100 and private companies.
He retired as CEO for Barclays, Asia Pacific in 2017 after a career spanning 25 over years in corporate and investment banking, and wealth management at Credit Suisse and Barclays. During his career he held front office and infrastructure leadership positions in the UK, North America and Asia Pacific building award winning businesses and diverse teams delivering outstanding financial performance.
In 2014 he founded Cleantech Solar in Singapore and developed the business into the leading private Commercial & Industrial roof top solar energy business in Asia. The company builds and operates over 500 generating assets in 8 countries across Asia with ~1GWp of production. In 2019 Shell acquired 49% of the company and Andrew sat on the Board of Cleantech Energy Corp as a non-Executive Director until 2022 when the reminder of the company was sold by the Founders to Keppel Corp.
Andrew attended the Royal Agricultural University between 2017-18 and founded Fibra in 2019. He lives on a mixed farm with his wife in South West England where he is developing natural fibre cultivation, processing and manufacturing technology.
