Nature’s Rainbow Ashley started growing dyeplants as a horticultural therapist at Earthworks St Albans. He has over fifteen years’ experience of growing and using dyeplants, ranging from the classic woad, weld and madder to more unusual plants. In particular Ashley has been on a mission to get a practical understanding of overlooked native dyeplants used in the past and others with potential for a UK climate. Ashley documents his learning on the Nature’s Rainbow blog which contains a wealth of information on dye plant horticulture.
