Claire O’Sullivan, co-founder of Contemporary Hempery is a studio jeweller with an MA in Entrepreneurship for Creative Practice. Her interest is in the place where art and commerce meet. Claire’s involvement with natural fibre sprung from her sense of place, living in what was the once the centre of the thriving and economically important hemp growing and processing industry of East Anglia. Contemporary Hempery is on a mission to revive the traditional growing of hemp and to elevate the fibre to its rightful place in material culture
