Dave is the County Moth Recorder for Kent and records moths wherever he goes. He is a proud Yorkshireman who loves anything outdoors and has even canoed with wild beavers. Since studying Ag’ Science at Sutton Bonnington he has gained over 20 years experience of working on nature-friendly farming, advising farmers and developing policy.

He works for Natural England, currently focussing on the development of Defra’s new agri-environment schemes, with a particular interest in using geo-spatial data to help decision making.
