Donal Sheehan is dairy farmer in the Bride valley area of County Cork, Ireland. He initiated the BRIDE Project (Biodiversity Regeneration In a Dairying Environment), a European Innovation Partnership (EIP) Project. This involved working with a network of local farmers and setting up templates and knowledge transfer for the wider agricultural community on different aspects of environmental and sustainable food production practices. Emerging from the BRIDE project, Donal has developed a concept called ‘Farming with Nature’ designed to connect individual farmers to food consumers at point of purchase.
