Dr Katherine Berthon is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Agroecology group in Cambridge University. Katherine’s research explores the factors that influence the persistence of wildlife in human-dominated landscapes to understand how to better design, or redesign (restore) habitats to conserve biodiversity. Her recent work has focussed on pollinator conservation, and biodiversity impacts of regenerative agriculture.
The need for timely and relevant research to support the transition to regenerative farming at a scale that can restore biodiversity and reverse climate change, while still producing sufficient food, is a major challenge.
