Dr Sofia Biffi

Dr Sofia Biffi is an environmental scientist at the University of Leeds. Her research falls within agro-ecology and she is interested in agri-environment schemes impact and uptake, soil properties in sustainable management systems, and insect and bird farmland biodiversity. After completing her PhD in Biology on sustainable soil management for farmland birds, she has been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Geography for the Resilient Dairy Landscape project. Her main focus has been assessing the changes in soil carbon stocks, hydrology, and biodiversity with hedgerow planting schemes across the UK.
