James Green is Farms Director at The Conant Farming Company based in Rutland. They are a specialist in contract farming and currently operates on over 2850ha (7000ac) for 5 land owners across the Rutland/Northamptonshire/Leicestershire boarders.
Conant Farming works with it clients to design and implement Mid-Tier, Higher Tier and SFI agreements to benefit all aspects of the farmed area and deliver a sustainable business for the longer term. James studied a NDA at Writtle College before completing a degree in Agricultural Business Management at Reading University in 2010. Before joining Conant Farming in May 2015, James was Farm Manager for 5 years at a joint venture farming business in Essex. He is Basis and Facts qualified and has recently obtained his certificate in sustainable land management after training at the GWCT Allerton Project.
