James Kingham joined Waitrose in 2021 as Technical Innovation Manager. Responsible for looking for new ingredients, technologies and processes that can help delight customers and enhance Waitrose own brand ranges. Over the last year this had included a number of projects in Regenerative Agriculture and Circular Food Economies.

Prior to Waitrose James held a number of Technical and Innovation roles with major retailers and start up brands. He has helped to launch some exciting new brands leveraging technical knowledge to develop patents and first to market innovations.
