James is a first generation farmer, originally from Hampshire and now based in the North East of Scotland. With his wife he co-founded Grampian Graziers, working with landowners to deliver grazing management for soil health improvements and biodiversity gains. Having recently entered into a new business partnership with Rottal Estate, James works full time managing the expanding suckler herd and a flock of hill sheep.
