Jennifer is a social science researcher, based in the School of Geography and Environment at the University of Oxford, working on farmer perceptions and experiences of agri-environment schemes (AES). She works on a Defra-funded project delivering co-design support for the development of England’s new Environmental Land Management Schemes. Her research focuses on participatory approaches which centre farmer knowledges as key in successful AES. Jennifer also works in the Environment and Sustainability Institute at the University of Exeter on Nature Recovery and Regional Development. She is extremely passionate about upland farming and has her own small flock of Herdwick sheep.
