Joanne Ooi is the founder of EA Sustain, a festival about Environment, Culture and Entrepreneurship, and EA Festival, an ideas and performing arts festival.

She moved to the UK in 2016 after 20 years in Hong Kong, where she was a creative director and environmental activist. She was profiled on the cover of Fast Company magazine for turning around Chinese chic brand, Shanghai Tang, and nominated to Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential” for her groundbreaking consumer-style marketing of environmental issues while CEO of Clean Air Network, an NGO she established to combat air pollution in the Pearl River Delta (Hong Kong/China). Joanne has extensive experience in marketing, entrepreneurship, innovation, culture and environment.
