Josef A. Holzer (43) is a farmer, forester, trainer, and consultant. He is an expert in the fields of permaculture, animal husbandry, agroforestry, aquaculture, arable farming, humus cultivation and water management. Since 2009 Josef has been responsible for developing the Krameterhof farm, a world-renowned permaculture showcase project in the Austrian Alps where he lives with his partner Regina and their two daughters, Rosa and Frida. The Krameterhof farm has achieved international recognition through various book releases, media reports and documentary films on Sepp Holzer, Josef’s father.

In 2020 Josef founded Holzer Permaculture Solutions Ltd., an engineering office for (hydro)geology and forestry focusing on holistic land cultivation and use.
