I believe that food production can be achieved in tandem with habitat provision for biodiversity and ecosystem services.

My work focuses on integrating environmental land management within the farm business, by optimising agri-environment schemes (CSS, SFI and ELM) for farm productivity and wildlife. As a farmer cluster facilitator I engage with a number of organisations and projects looking to work with farmers to deliver environmental improvements. I previously worked in crop science, researching regenerative agricultural practices including reducing cultivation, improving productivity and optimising fertiliser use.
