Mark Knight is the technical manager at Tangmere Airfield Nurseries. Tangmere Airfield Nurseries Ltd is a family business based on the famous Battle of Britain airfield in West Sussex, and one of Europe’s largest, sweet pepper nurseries growing peppers to LEAF Marque standards. The company has more than 100 acres of state-of-the-art glasshouse facilities in the UK and Spain, and implements hydroponic growing techniques, as well as wastewater recycling in a circular, closed loop, precision irrigation system.
