Mark has worked for the RSPB in a variety of roles since 2001, which has included wardening ancient woodlands, grazing marsh and estuary. For the last two years he has been their Turtle Dove Conservation Adviser in Essex, where he works with a fabulous network of around 70 farmers and landowners as well as supporting the farm clusters in the county. When he is not working, he is, not surprisingly out looking at birds, an inescapable passion for the last 40 years. He loves nothing more than enthusing people and imparting his knowledge.
