Mateusz Ciasnocha is a 700ha third-generation regenerative farmer from northern Poland on a mission of transitioning agricultural and food systems from conventional to regenerative with the farmer in the centre.

Mateusz is living his mission on local, European and global level through creating and working with spectacular platforms, which are: European Carbon Farmers (https://www.europeancarbonfarmers.com/), which Mateusz founded; EIT Food (https://www.eitfood.eu), where Mateusz leads Regenerative Agriculture Program in Poland; the COP26 – Race to Zero, where Mateusz is a Regenerative Agriculture Fellow (https://racetozero.unfccc.int/welcome-to-the-race-to-zero-fellows/); and the Economy of Francesco (https://francescoeconomy.org/), where Mateusz co-leads the Farm of Francesco (https://linktr.ee/agriculture.justice).

For his leadership in the agricultural arena, Mateusz was invited to join the UN Food Systems Summit Champions network (https://www.un.org/en/food-systems-summit).
