Naomi spent her early career running restaurants, cafés and bars in commercial, business and education settings. Inspired by the release of the School Food Plan in 2014, she left her role as a caterer and went to work directly with schools to help them implement the philosophy of the plan. Naomi joined forces with Henry Dimbleby and Nicole Pisani in 2018 to establish and lead the team at Chefs in Schools – a charity transforming child health through improving food and food education in schools across the country. Chefs in Schools now reach 30,000 children every day and counting, and are supported by leading people from the food world including Thomasina Miers, Prue Leith and Yotam Ottolenghi.
