Ninian Stuart is a community worker to trade who was “landed” with a Scottish Estate when his father died in 1981. For 40 years, he’s been dancing with questions around ownership, stewardship and relationship with the land. Now he and his children are exploring how best to transfer Falkland Estate into a form of steward-ownership beyond their family line – with the intention of restoring a more regenerative life to the land and community. A wonderful challenge…and not always easy…
