Prof Guy Ziv

Professor Guy Ziv holds a chair in Socio-Environmental Systems at The University of Leeds. He focuses on the interplay between policy, land management decisions and land use change impacts on ecosystem services. Before joining the University of Leeds, he was a Lead Scientists of the Natural Capital Project at Stanford University. He coordinates the Horizon2020 project BESTMAP developing new modelling tools to predict the impact of future agricultural policy and leads the Horizon 2020 funded ECOPOTENTIAL ‘Ecosystem Benefits Through Earth Observations’ project. His research focuses on policy and climate change impacts on the water-food-energy system and the environment.
