Rebecca has been combining practical work as an organic grower and farmer, with research, campaigning and planning support for over twenty years. She is author of “Surviving and Thriving on the Land: How to use your time and energy to run a successful smallholding” and “A Matter of Scale” a study into the productivity, financial viability and multifunctional benefits of small scale farms. She is the Horticulture Campaigns Co-ordinator at Landworkers’ Alliance, and facilitator of Defra Horticulture ELMS Test and Trial, “Growing the Goods”, which aims to incentivise growers of all scales to grow more sustainably. She also keeps her hands in the soil growing salads and other vegetables at Bridport Cohousing in Dorset.
