Samuel Telling is an entomology consultant at ADAS, he joined the entomology team in October 2021. Sam specialises in Integrated Pest Management in arable crops. Previous work has focused on natural enemy communities in the wild and the role of hyperparasitoids in mitigating biocontrol in protected cropping. Current projects include developing monitoring and forecasting programmes for pest and insect vectored plant viruses, and monitoring for pests and natural enemies. Sam has a background in countryside management and conservation, especially in forestry and grassland management.
