Sheila studied at Kew, worked for English Heritage, and has been a Garden Manager at RHS Wisley since 2015. Sheila and her team are currently radically developing 19 acres of edible landscape at Wisley, demonstrating diverse ways of growing which will enable visitors to connect with holistic systems needed to support healthy food growing in an authentic and sustainable way. Sheila believes that connecting people with how good quality food grows can enable everyone to make better choices for personal health, planetary health and also forge a deeper connection with those who grow our food.
