Susan has over fifteen years’ experience of growing and using dyeplants and maintains a dye garden and natural dye practice in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. She believes that growing your own colour profoundly changes our relationship to textiles and goes a little way towards changing consumption habits for the better. Her goal is to help people create attractive dye gardens which give great colours in the dyepot whilst also enhancing wildlife. Susan maintains a website on dye plant horticulture with her husband Ashley Walker.
