Tim Pagella is a system scientist, based in Bangor University in North Wales, who specialises in agroforestry systems and agroecology. His research focuses on the role agroforestry plays in delivering both public goods and broader food security. Much of his research has been in partnership with World Agroforestry (ICRAF), working primarily in Africa and South East Asia. Tim enjoys working closely with farming communities and much of his initial research was exploring farmers’ local knowledge about agroforestry. He most recently contributed a chapter on silvopasture for the Agroforestry Handbook for farmers published by the Soil Association.
