I’m on a journey to make our family farm more resilient and profitable through low-input systems and regenerative practices, transitioning away from a commercial ewe flock to focusing on increasing the suckler herd and hill flock. I’m also the innovator of the Burge Bale Unroller (BaleGrazer) and pipe winder. When we moved to outwintering the cows, I needed to find a solution to feed bales without using heavy machinery on our wet land.
