William Scale has nearly 20 years of experience of continuous no tillage farming and is based in Pembrokeshire on possibly the most Westerly no till farm in the UK. With an annual rainfall of about 50 inches a year, the motivation to preserve soils against erosion and to keep driving down costs on the family farm has always been paramount. A keen conservationist, a Nuffield Scholar and a Churchill Fellow, Will has travelled and met a range of farmers and landowners over the years relevant to the field of Zero Tillage, Holistic Management, and Conservation from countries as diverse as Paraguay, Syria and Finland.
