William Wolmer manages Blackmoor Estate in Hampshire. The farm grows apples, cherries and pears alongside a fruit tree nursery and an arable operation. Prior to this William worked in Southern Africa conducting research on smallholder agriculture and conservation including landscape-scale transboundary conservation projects. Since 2014 William has Chaired the Selborne Landscape Partnership. This is a farmer-led ‘cluster’ covering 4000 ha around the village of Selborne with the aim of delivering a joined up approach to farmland conservation and environmental work.
