Dung beetles play a vital role in healthy pastoral systems both above the ground & below it. To benefit from this natural resource we need to increase their numbers and focus on how we treat our livestock for parasites. In this session entomologist Sally-Ann Spence will introduce our native dung beetles & their multitude of ecosystem functions. Eurion Thomas will be focusing on livestock parasites & how you can monitor them to implement a more sustainable treatment plan on your farm.
