I am an educator focused on the interface between society and the environment, agriculture and ecology, and ‘ways of knowing’ and ‘ways of growing’. I lead the MSc Agroecology at the RAU and run modules on Small Scale Farming and Local Food Supply, Forestry and Woodland management and the Fundamentals of Agroecology. Other educational activities that I am passionate about include teaching traditional fire-craft, plant-based soap making, and essential oil distillation.
Being a successful and happy regenerative, whether farmer, grower, adviser, facilitator or leader, is knowledge-intensive. You also need confidence and connection.
