I am a beef and sheep hill farmer from Highland Perthshire. The family Farm sits at 820 feet and rises to over 2,500 feet. I farm here with my wife Jane and daughter Katrina. We have 680 breeding ewes split between continental, cheviot and blackface and 65 suckler cows split between continental and highland. The stock graze the farm according to their capabilities. For the past 12 years we have direct drilled all our forage crop which has made a huge difference to the farm in so many ways.
