I am a biologist who studies aquatic animals, often from unusual places like Antarctica, the deep ocean, Amazonia and hypersaline lakes, to understand adaptions to thrive in such harsh environments. I am also passionate about achieving truly sustainable UK king prawn farming (“aquaculture”) by integrating New Agriculture Act subsidies with indoor, recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), waste heat/renewable energy (anaerobic digesters), full circularity of wastes, and nature positive solutions.
