There is now widespread agreement that farmers need to be rewarded financially for the delivery of positive climate, nature and social outcomes. But how can the receipt of a ‘third income stream’ be properly authenticated and regulated? In this session we will bring together some of the pioneering players who are working on pilots to measure and reward the public goods outcomes from sustainable farming systems.
