ADAS & Farm Wildlife Biodiversity Bimble

Stand DF B26 (ADAS)

Meet ADAS scientists and Farm Wildlife entomologists at the demonstration tent and learn to recognise some key farmland invertebrates from the ADAS and RSPB specimen collections. Then take a stroll with RSPB’s Dr Catherine M. Jones, Bex Cartwright from Bumblebee Conservation Trust, Rachel Richards from Buglife, and ADAS entomologists Elysia Bartel, Samuel Telling, Eleanor Dearlove and plant scientists Kevin Godfrey and Dr Sarah Cook.
Come on a guided walk to explore the biodiversity of the Groundswell meadow and discuss methods for promoting wildlife on farms. We will use sweep nets and traps to discover which pests, predators, pollinators, and other wildlife are living here on site and which plants provide their habitat
